There’s a reason why the houses look so realistic in many of your favourite films and adverts- it’s because they’re shot in real houses! House rental for film shoots is a real thing, and a thing we happen to specialise in.

Here are our five favourite famous film set house rentals from recent briefs. (We have plenty more but we can’t always share them!)

The Uber Eats x Edris Elba location was the ever-popular Eglantine, a sleek and contemporary English home in Wandsworth. It’s not every day you get to say you’re on location with Edris Elba, so we suspect the location managers were as excited to be there as we were to help with the booking.

Tilda Rice UK

The location management team behind the Tilda Tasty Sides campaign wanted a bright kitchen, which they found very quickly with Heaver house. We think the ads they came up with were clever and fun – and all they needed was a day shoot (and perhaps some time for the talent to practise those Tilda tongue twisters)

Ludwig – BBC

Critically acclaimed cryptic comedy drama with David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin Ludwig burst onto screens in September and we were all riveted to our screens. The fact is was filmed in part at our Hoxton Heights was an added bonus!

Black Doves – Netflix

The most memorable Black Doves locations shot in our Crystal Palace house have to be the balcony and the kitchen. No spoilers, but you should definitely keep an eye out for the kitchen brawl that spills into the living room, with a finale that features the balcony…
